Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Atmosverde platform, API, widget, or any related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the platform on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Atmosverde operates a carbon credit marketplace that enables businesses to purchase verified carbon credits, offset emissions through API integrations, and generate ESG compliance documentation. Credits are sourced from verified registries including Verra, Gold Standard, ACR, and CAR.

We provide tools including a REST API, checkout widget, portfolio manager, and reporting dashboard. All carbon credits purchased through Atmosverde are verified, allocated using FIFO methodology, and retired on the appropriate registry with full chain-of-custody documentation.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, API keys, and security keys. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorised access to your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Accounts must be registered with accurate company and contact information. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to platform integrity.

API access is subject to rate limits based on your subscription tier. Current limits are published in our API documentation. Exceeding rate limits may result in temporary throttling. All API requests must include valid authentication headers and, for mutating operations, duplicate protection.

You agree not to reverse-engineer, scrape, or use the API in ways that could damage, disable, or impair the platform. Automated purchases exceeding your account limits require prior arrangement with our team.

Carbon credit purchases are billed at the current market rate at the time of transaction. All prices are quoted in the currency specified in your account settings. Payments are processed through our PCI DSS-compliant payment provider.

Refunds for carbon credit purchases are not available once credits have been retired on a registry. For credits that have not yet been retired, refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of purchase. Platform subscription fees are billed monthly or annually as agreed.

The Atmosverde platform, including its software, design, documentation, and trademarks, is owned by Atmosverde S.R.L. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the platform in accordance with your subscription agreement.

Your data remains your property. You grant us a limited licence to process your data as necessary to provide our services. ESG reports and certificates generated by the platform may be used by you for compliance and marketing purposes.

Atmosverde provides the platform on an 'as is' basis. While we strive for 99.9% uptime and verify all carbon credits through established registries, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that all credits will achieve their projected environmental outcomes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Atmosverde's total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Italy.
